Description: | Looking for students interested in working in an editorial capacity in publishing to read and evaluate romance and mystery submissions. |
Length of Internship: | 5.5 months (one traditional semester) |
Requirements: | A keen sense of either the romance or mystery genres (bonus if both), with an understanding of what appeals to readers. Must show some editing capabilities: an eye for pacing, conflict, characterization, plus the elements of writing (POV< show, don't tell). |
Location: | Remote; US or Canada-based applicants only |

Payment: | none; but we work with intern team to teach editing steps and allow them practice with feedback. |
