The Strand Magazine, renowned for being the original publisher of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories and literary works by John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Mark Twain, is seeking passionate and book-loving interns. If you're eager to gain hands-on experience in publishing and marketing, this opportunity is for you!

What You’ll Do:

Update and maintain The Strand Magazine’s online bookstore
Assist in growing our social media presence on platforms like Twitter and Instagram
Why Intern with Us: This is a remote and unpaid internship requiring a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for 3 months. In return, you'll gain valuable marketing and publishing experience, plus a letter of recommendation to enhance your resume!

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to work independently and meet weekly deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions carefully
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But a Plus):

Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and WordPress
Experience with social media management (Twitter, Instagram)
Interest in the mystery genre
Basic knowledge of SEO, WooCommerce, and data entry
Location: Remote
