Description:	Four open internships
Length of Internship:	6 months (Jan-June and July-Dec)
Requirements:	Interns will work with the editorial, publicity, and marketing departments. Read, evaluate, and do developmental and line edits on fiction and nonfiction books under editor or publisher supervision. Proofread and apply final galley corrections. Learn the craft of final formatting for digital and print books. Assist with writing and editorial needs on case-by-case basis. Editorial experience a plus. Excellent opportunity for those interested in the book publishing industry. We seek applicants with excellent writing skills, an appetite for reading, an eye for detail, a good editorial sense or the desire to develop one. Familiarity with internet research, blogs, and social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter a plus. The ability to work independently is important.
